God is so good!
Well down that road we have started toward getting Jerry declared by the Doctor, cancer FREE. We have cleared the first hurdle. We went to the Doctor at UTSW and she sent him to the best Radiologist that they have. She said that she was not impressed with any thing she saw. So that is ALL GOOD or should I say ALL GOD! So next he talks to the surgeon to see what she wants him to do. Thank you all for your prayers
!
God could see my heart and was GOOD to me again...I had been having some insecurity issues (sorry) and I met up with Face Book. I am not recommending FB to people but for me it was so nice to connect with old friends. We had dinner Friday night with friends that we had not seen in more than 15 years. That time was with the MATHENYS and the GUNDERS. Pastors and old friends from Trinity Church. It just felt incredible to have this evening with people that had been such a part of our lives for many years. We reminisced and laughed until we cried! Thank you Gunders for letting us meet in your beautiful home.
God is Good and Faithful to take care of our family. Sat morning about 2:30am Rebekah called that they were in the car and 5 firetrucks were at their house because of smoke in the house. At the same time we had no electricity for some reason and she could not get in touch with us. Long story short the smoke was coming from the electrical part of the fridge. Thank God he gave someone the knowledge to create a smoke detector. No serious damage done but could have been a serious problem.
I am just impressed that no matter the circumstance GOD IS GOOD AND ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO WATCH OVER US even when we are not expecting it

NEW OLD JOURNEY
This morning we began a new journey down an old road. As we travel we are believing that our steps are ordered of the Lord again and we already know that they are. We went back to UTSW to meet with a new Doctor there this morning. This is after Jerry's local endocrinologist had done a sonogram in his office and declared that there are more nodules in the left side of Jerry's neck. He sent him back to UTSW which is where we wanted him to have his Doctors anyway. So there you go...that is the first answer to prayer. They have set up his Sono for this Friday morning and it is with one of the best Radiologist around we have heard. She has worked on Jerry before so she has something to compare this "round" with. SO There you go...second answer to prayer! After they have some results then begins the plan of action. We need a real answer to completed healing by Friday. GOD'S grace is sufficient and His Mercy's are new every morning. GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS!

FUN FRIDAY
I found myself with an unexpected day off today so took the time to get some new friends on Face Book. If you haven't joined you should. It is so much fun to reconnect with old friends and see what everyone is up to. We have even got ourselves set up to have dinner with old friends from our days back at Trinity Church in Arlington. Really looking forward to that!
Bekah called really feeling bad and needing some relief from Walgreens. After 2 trips there and some prayer she said that she is 80% better tonight. We are chalking up her better self to prayer. I am so thankful that we have a Father to go to when we are concerned about OUR children and He always hears our hearts!
Tonight we headed back to Babes Chicken, this time in Burleson. We met dear friends Mike and Karen McLaughlin for dinner. We had a wonderful time of fellowship as usual. It is so good to have them back in Texas.
Tomorrow is Madison's performance at UT Texas Hall. They will be dancing during halftime at the basketball game. This is always a fun time. They are so cute! Hopefully we will have some pictures to post real soon.
While Jerry is at Madison's performance I will be heading for the church for a Mexican dinner prepared by our worship leader Terri and then worship practice for Sunday morning service. I pray that our time preparing will be a real savory offering for the Lord.
Have a blessed weekend!

BABES CHICKEN TRIP
Yesterday Bekah, Madison, Jackson and I ended up at our favorite chicken place after a day of purse shopping. As you can see Jackson was not so much into the trip as he was into what was flying overhead. It's hard to catch him looking at the camera. He is a busy guy and Madison is always looking for a photo op. Nana just likes being close to both of them period...
